Paint Preparation with Dry Ice Blasting

Dry Ice Blasting is used extensively for paint preparation.

A local yacht club wanted a fresh coat of paint on the swimming pool slide for the upcoming summer season. Our technicians carefully removed loose paint fragments to prepare the surface for painting.

Dry ice blasting utilizes frozen carbon dioxide pellets propelled at high speed to remove surface contaminants without leaving any secondary residue.

Ice pellets sublimate as they strike the surface thereby eliminating the need to clean up media such as sand blasting following the procedure.

As debris was lifted, paint particles are released. Another technician quickly removes them, keeping the area clean of debris.
